Brownsville, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Brownsville and Matamoros International Bridge intercepted a load of alleged cocaine. CBP officers discovered the narcotics, valued at approximately $211,140, hidden within a 2013 Dodge vehicle.
“Our officers use every tool at their disposal to secure our borders and continue to intercept dangerous narcotics, ensuring that they don’t reach our communities,” said Port Director Tater Ortiz, Brownsville Port of Entry.

The seizure took place on Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Brownsville and Matamoros International Bridge when a 27-year-old female United States citizen from Brownsville, Texas, applied for entry into the United States driving a 2013 Dodge. Yuma Border Patrol Agents Apprehend, Identify Sex Offender Published: 08 February 2021 08 February 2021
Ajo, Arizona - Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents arrested an aggravated felon and convicted sex offender early Tuesday morning after he made illegal entry into the U.S.
The man was one of 10 Mexican nationals apprehended by Ajo Station agents at approximately 10:30 p.m. on February 1, after illegally crossing the border through the desert near Ajo.
At approximately 2 a.m. Tuesday morning, the subjects were transported to the Yuma Station for processing. During processing, record checks conducted on the 10 Mexican nationals revealed one of them had been arrested and prosecuted for aggravated sexual assault with a child for which he was convicted and confined for 3 years. The subject has been arrested and convicted previously for assault, and he has been previously removed from the U.S. following the completion of his sentence for that crime.

Pharr, Texas - Officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations (OFO) at the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility detected packages containing alleged fentanyl and cocaine worth $890,000 in a commercial tractor/trailer arriving from Mexico with fresh produce.
“Our frontline officers working at the commercial facility in Pharr continue to maintain their vigilance and dedication to the border security mission. This significant, poly-drug seizure is attributable to the effective use of all available tools and resources. Their efforts this weekend prevented these narcotics from reaching our communities,” said Port Director Carlos Rodriguez, Hidalgo/Pharr/Anzalduas Port of Entry.
